This is a custom conversion, not a stock item. The 20 x 8 ft shell shown here has been fitted out as a garden office, and because each build is produced individually, layout and specification stay open while the steel container structure does the structural work. The combination on this model is modern glazing, high-performance insulation, and a refined internal finish, aimed at home working, creative studios, or professional workspace use.

• 20 x 8 ft high cube shipping container, which raises the internal height

• 1 × fixed double-glazed large panel window, 2100 × 2200 mm, supply and install
• 1 × double-glazed anthracite gray sliding door, internal opening, 2500 × 2200 mm, supply and install
• 1 × high-line, low-hung opening window, 1800 × 400 mm
• 1 × single glazed anthracite gray door, 1000 × 2200 mm

Every glazed element is professionally installed, specified to pull daylight into the unit without giving up insulation performance.

Insulation and Internal Finish

• Floating floor system, insulated
• Walls and ceilings timber-framed, insulated with 50 mm Celotex
• A breathable membrane wraps the build
• Plaster-boarded and dry-lined throughout
• Matt white finish, skirting boards in white
• Engineered rustic oak flooring, 14 mm, laid throughout

The interior comes out office-ready and comfortable enough for use across the whole year.

Electrical Installation

• 8 × LED downlights
• 3 × double electrical plug sockets
• Internal light switch, dimmable
• 1 × electric wall-mounted heater

Electrical work is carried out professionally and left ready for site connection.

External Finish

The container is fully resprayed outside in anthracite gray. The result is clean and modern, and sits correctly in a residential setting or a commercial one.
