40FT Standard Shipping Container

A full-length 40-foot box in CORTEN anti-corrosive steel, available in either Cargo-Worthy or Wind & Water Tight (WWT) condition. The frame is stackable, the storage volume runs the full length of the unit and ISO corner castings are fitted, so the container is approved for intermodal use across land, sea and rail.

The engineering targets three jobs at once: secure, high-capacity performance in global freight, commercial operations and permanent on-site storage. Exporting goods overseas or standing the unit down as a static store, the shell is the same — built for rugged utility and structural reliability.

A 19-ply, 28mm-thick plywood floor gives moisture resistance and high load-bearing performance under heavy machinery and pallet loads.

Factory ventilation ports

Built-in air vents regulate humidity and reduce condensation buildup inside the container during long-term use.

Double high locking gear

An enhanced door locking system with reinforced handles for fatigue resistance under repeated access cycles.

Integrated lockbox, welded

An added security feature for padlocks, discouraging tampering or forced entry during transport or stationary use.

Forklift pockets

Built-in steel channels at the base allow efficient repositioning with yard equipment or forklifts.

ISO corner castings

Top and bottom fittings designed for crane lifts, stacking or racking into standardized intermodal storage systems.

Exterior finish

Standard marine-grade enamel. Optional custom RAL color finishes are available by request, and longer lead times may apply.

Cargo-Worthy (CW). Certified for international shipping with valid CSC plates. Structurally sound, sealed and ready for export. Fully inspected for frame alignment, door operation and floor integrity under international freight conditions.

Wind & Water Tight (WWT). Ideal for long-term dry storage applications. Units are inspected to confirm sealed doors, intact flooring and weatherproof welds. Suitable for static use in construction, warehousing or personal storage projects.

Inspection tags, structural certifications and updated serial documentation are available upon request.
